Promotion Sunday 2015

Sunday, September 6th is Promotion Sunday! Also known as Moving Up Day!

Here's the rundown of who's moving where:

Preschool Ministry

2 1/2-3 Yr Olds You may want to start the process of transitioning your child to the Elephant room. Please see Kelly Fol to help you decide. Please know that this can be a long process for both you and your child. And that is ok. You want to be sensitive to the needs of your child but also help them grow and become a bit more independent.

PreK If your child starts PreK in the Fall he/she will move over to the Giraffe room. They'll meet their new Small Group Leader and their friends will be moving up with them!

Kindergartner If your child starts Kindergarten in the Fall he/she will stay in the Giraffe room.

Elementary Ministry

1st Graders
If your child starts 1st Grade in the fall he/she will be starting a new Small Group downstairs in the Lower Level! Continue to attend the same service that you always attend so that your child can see and grow with their friends. Just take them down to the Lower Level to check in to meet their new Small Group Leader!

2nd Graders
If your child starts 2nd Grade in the fall he/she will be meeting a a new Small Group leader on Sunday. Continue to take them down to the Lower Level but be sure to meet and introduce yourself to their new Small Group Leader any Sunday in September.

3rd Graders
No change for your kids. They will stay with the same Small Group Leader and in the same group as usual. Yay!

4th Graders
If your child starts 4th Grade in the fall he/she will be meeting a a new Small Group leader on Sunday. Continue to take them down to the Lower Level but be sure to meet and introduce yourself to their new Small Group Leader any Sunday in September.

5th Graders
No change for your kids. They will stay with the same Small Group Leader and in the same group as usual. Yay!

Middle School Ministry

6th Graders- BIG CHANGES!
If your child starts 6th Grade in the fall he/she will be meeting a a new Small Group leader and starting a new environment on Sundays.

For 6th Graders and their parents only:

• New Time: 10:30am service ONLY. 
• New Place: Jr. High room to the right of the Elementary environment (Lower Level). 
• For Parents: There will be a Middle School Parent Orientation on Sunday, September 6th at 12:30pm in the Jr. High room. Please let us know you are coming by emailing Rosie Villodas at rosie@newlifefellowship.org.
