The average child will spend over 1000 hours every year in school and they will spend less than 50 hours in church.  The average parent has more than 10 times the opportunities to discuss spiritual issues in one year than a church leader does in 10 years. The church has limited potential to impact the heart of your child. WHAT HAPPENS AT HOME in many ways is more important than what happens at church!

We have many volunteers and staff every week creating ideas, crafting environments and coaching kids to help them grow up the right way. BUT WE CAN'T DO IT WITHOUT YOU!

We need you to help us help your kids by talking about it every week at home. Remember, no one can have more influence on your child's faith than you can as a parent.

PRESCHOOL MINISTRY (Birth-5yrs)

This Month
To learn the Bible story that your children heard on Sunday and to help them learn the memory verse for the month, please click on THIS MONTH tab. There we will post what is called a Parent Cue. The Parent Cue will include some fun ideas for you to do with them at home during the week to reinforce the key truth we talked about on Sunday. Every month we will update this information so that you know exactly what they are learning.
Parent Cue
On a regular basis, you will be given a Parent Cue sheet to take home. This will tell you what your children learned that day, including the key truth and bottom line for the month. It will provide you with creative ideas to help them keep learning all week. This resource will help you take advantage of teachable moments in your home and reinforce what was taught on Sunday morning.

Parent Cue

Pick up a Parent Cue at your child's classroom each month. The front of the card has everything you need to know about what your child is learning at New Life Kids including the Virtue, monthly memory verse, Bible stories, and bottom lines (or teaching point!) to go along with those stories each week. On the back of the card, you'll find "Ask a Kid" and "Ask a Parent Questions" you can use to discuss during the week to help reinforce what your kids are learning at church at HOME!

The Parent Cue App

The Parent Cue app offers resources for those every day moments that happen away from home:

• Drive Time offers weekly videos retelling Bible stories and music that you and your kid will love.
• Hang Time gives weekly activities your family will enjoy and fun monthly videos.
• Meal Time provides discussion starters for kids and parents to help you take conversations a bit deeper.
