Parent Cue Emails- What to Expect

Starting tomorrow, Tuesday, September 15th, we will be sending you a weekly email called "ParentCUE", that is designed to 'cue' you, the parent, to engage with your child on their faith journey. These emails are one of the most important ways we will be partnering with you! Use it to:
  • Engage in what your kids learned this week.
  • Get parenting ideas/tools to use as you parent.
  • Let you know what events are coming up for your child or family (e.g. Kids Baptism, kids discipleship ideas, Family events, etc.)
Below are the different segments you will see in the email and how you can use it to your advantage.

The GUIDE section will let you know the Bible Story from that past Sunday, what the Bottom Line (main point) was that Sunday. It will also let you know what the monthly Memory Verse is, the months Life App (for Elementary) or Key Question (for Preschoolers) and the Basic Truth we are emphasizing this month.

How to Use this Section: Use this section to familiarize yourself with the weeks Bible Story and Bottom Line.

The BLOG section gives you a excerpt of a blog post from a great Parenting Blog I, Rosie, love to read. Here you will find parenting inspiration as well as practical parenting tips for everyday parenting.

How to Use this Section: Read the excerpt and if you are interested in the topic click the "Read More" link to go to the Parenting Blog. Enjoy! This section is just for you!

The NEWS section is where you will find out about upcoming New Life Kids, New Life Fellowship and Parenting News, Events and Tools for you.

How to Use this Section: Skim over the upcoming events and tools. Mark your calendars and/or click on the appropriate links to find out more info or register for a particular event.

The PHASE section is where you will see a quick and VERY informative fact about kids in the Phase that your child is in right now. I found many of them to be something I never knew and some are just funny!

How to Use this Section: Take a glance at this section. Share it with other parents. Tweet it, Facebook it and use the hashtag #JustAPhase. ;)
