{Elementary} A Letter to 5th Grade Parents

Transitioning your Student to Middle School/Jr. High Ministry

Dear Parents of 5th Graders,

The school year is almost at an end and we are preparing to promote our kids to their next stage in life. For
kids who are finishing up their 5th grade year and entering 6th grade in the Fall, they are getting ready to
move up to New Life’s Jr. High (Middle school) program. Starting September 7th, 2014 at 10:30am service
only, kids in 6th grade are invited to join the Jr. High program under the leadership of our Junior High
Ministry Directors, Louis and Adela Daniels.

As a way to help your rising 6th grader get acclimated to being in the Middle School/Jr. High school ministry we highly recommend that you attend our Jr. High Ministry Info Session on Sunday, June 22nd during the 12:30pm service. It will be held in the Youth Room, Lower Level. Register below.



There’s some new information and some events happening to help your child transition well into the next part of their growing up journey. So don’t miss this opportunity to get info and ask questions. You’ll be hearing more from our Jr. High Directors over the next couple of months to get you and your child ready to transition well. Here is their contact information:

We know you will have a lot of questions, and that’s great! Please consider coming to the Info Session first to get detailed information on the transition and the program. If at that point your questions weren’t addressed, then you will be more than welcome to either talk to Adela & Louis in person at the event or reach out to them in one of the two ways above. In the meantime we want to encourage you to take your rising 6th grader to their normal kids ministry service so that they can meet some of the Jr. High Leaders during their Small Group Time.
